何か書いたりするのに世界統計とか引くことがあるけど、あれはわりとめんどくさいし、加工も自前でやる必要がある。
ところがGoogleがやってくれましたよ。ものすごい数の統計（ミックスはしない）をサポートした可視化ツールの大公開。
さまざまなデータセットを可視化してくれて、ワンクリックで比較対象を増やしたり減らしたりもできる。思いつきでぽちぽち押しながら眺めてるだけで、物を考えたり知識が増えたりするきっかけになる。
たとえば、下の画像は世銀の人口増加率のデータを各国比較にしたもの。
日本と世界を比べて眺めていたんだけど、なんとなく赤道ギニアをクリックしたら、1974年がボトムの鍋底型になってた。なんじゃこれ？データの不備？？ってちょっと "赤道ギニア 1974" ってググったらすぐ http://www.jttk.zaq.ne.jp/cocon-reserch/DATA/C186guinea.htm みたいなのが見つかった。恐怖政治があったのか。たいへん納得。
この大統領が殺された途端に元のレベルを思い切り超えてくるあたりも面白い。
